I had the same problem. The windows in the rear could be opened and closed
from the front, but not from the individual switches in the rear doors. My
safety switch was to blame. I got a replacement from a junkyard for $10 (out
of an '89 100 by the way). Everything works fine now. Did you attempt to use
the rear cigarette lighter? It is also controlled by this safety switch. If
it doesn't work, it is a good sign the safety switch is bad.
