Just though I'd let you in on what I have seen done, and am planning to do
myself.
there are three mars red UrQ's around me in the Chicago far north burbs.  The
one has a radiator from a late model coupe, I believe from a '86 or '87.  I
was told this was the thickest radiator put in these cars, and it bolts right
in.  He has since removed the aux radiator (as did I ) and the temp is just
right...

I don't think there is any need to spend the big bucks here.  Does your car
still have air conditioning?
