jim,
sorry to hear about your gasket problems. however attractive the
'head-in-place' gasket replacement sounds, be careful that your head isn't
warped due to the amount of running around you have done with the gasket
problem. if the head is warped, you'll blow the new gasket as well...
wrt the 20v conversion, it is possible, but the fuel system (csi to efi) would
need to be changed, the computer changed and various sensors (air mass etc)
would also need to be changed. big job...
