rear differential

I have a 1986 VW Quantum Syncro.  Sometime in the future I will probably
have to replace my rear differential, as it has excessive "play" between
the gears.

Does anyone know if any of the Audi Quattros has a differential that can be
interchanged with the one used by the Syncro?  The Bentley manual says that
the differential on the Syncro has code letters AAG, AMP, and final ratio
4.11.

If anyone can point to an Audi model that uses the same rear differential,
then my universe of potential donors would increase dramatically.
