MB cylinder head lives again

There Follows A Reading From The Microfiche - MB Engine, Frame 15-13:
"Cylinder heads with cracks between the valve seats or
between the valve seat ring and a spark plug hole can
be re-used with no adverse effects on engine life if
the cracks are small (less than 0.5mm wide) or only
the first turns of the plug hole thread is involved."
Having read through to 15-26, I can only say that you're a brave man
to re-assemble an MB engine without the information contained therein.
