There is some confusion about the correct 90A unit for the
5ktq. The Bosch catalog listing for 5k turbos is just as Dave says.
However, it is incorrect for the 87-88 cars at least. The difference
between the 31X and 27X is that the mounting flanges of the
two units are mirror images of each other. For 5kt and tq cars
with the AC compressor mounted on the left (driver's) side of
the engine and the alternator on the right - for example, the
88 5kcstq - you must use the AL27X.
BTW, again with respect to the 5k, the 115A unit requires an entirely
different mounting bracket and bracing arrangement than the 90A
original and would _not_ be a simple swap.
