Thanks for the optimism. My car has been running fine of late (knock on
wood). Car is currently in the body shop. Finally got my problem with the
state (PA) solved. A salt truck sitting on the side of the road sprayed my
car with cinders last January. Really chipped my paint on the hood, fenders,
and bumpers up badly. After much letter writing and filling out of forms, got
only $100 out of the state. Said would cover the comprehensive deductable for
the insurance. So the insurance is paying around $800, and the state the
other $100. This is one job I do not have to pay for at all!
