Sprongles car is 10v and it was created from a wreck of a QC aquired from
Shokan some years ago. Finally with Castroll help they are getting their
engine done by Lehman. For main they used a smaller turbo with low ratio
gear box that sat on shelf for a while. They ran most of the event on
used tires. Toward the end their mom allowed new tires and they advanced
tremendously and got ahead of Carl Merril. Compared to Marril's car Audi
was crap. It was only increadible driving skills of Frank that worked
mirakles here. The old trainy however had leaky slave cylinder and at the
end shifting was a problem. If they could afford a proper gear box that
would not even be an issue. Somobody recomended adding Coca Cola with
break fluid which they did and it helped. That was an increadible
victory. At awards dinner John Buffum called Frank one of the fastest
drivers in North America. Shame, Shame , Shame on Audi for not helping
such great talant. With a modren car he could be unstopable. Some people
think that Frank and Danny alsow know these roads well which is apparent
from their driving style.
