Sounds like your mechanic cut you a break. Those things that burnt out in the
tranny are solenoids. Seems like a common problem in Audi trannys. The
recommended spark plugs for our cars are tri-electrode. They are not easy to
find, and are not cheap either. I am still waiting for my car's front end
refinish to be completed. Was supposed to be done friday, but now its
tuesday. By the way, what was your total bill?
