Turbo power

Hi everyone.

I have a strange thing happening with my Coupe.
It has the '82 5kt engine with the oxygen 
sensor/frequancy valve taken out of the same car.
The car also has the '88 intercooler and intake manifold.
Everything works fine as far as I can see.  I haven't checked the 
oxygen sensor itself yet.  Getting good gas miladge so I think it's 
working fine.
The problem I am having is that when the boost hits max which is 7.5 
psi the power remains the same wether the throttle is 3/4 open or 
fully open (full throtle swich turned on).  There is lots of power 
but the fact that the full throtle is not making any difference is 
bothering me.  The swich itself is working fine.  I have a feeling 
that I could have even more power.
Any help is apriciated.  I want to sort out this problem before I 
start raising the boost.
