Oil pressure Sender - UrQ

I'm putting the oil pressure gauge in my UrQ and I'm wondering
if I have to tee it into the oil pressure warning switch? The
sender is from a 1984 coupe and has two terminals. One for
the sender and one for a built-in pressure switch. I think this
switch won't work with the UrQ's switch so I need both senders
in the one hole. Brass tee? Anyone have any thoughts?
