Okay,

So I have another question/observation... Along with the weird pedal
thing, the car is really hard to shift some of the times and at times getting
into reverse is almost impossible. So I take it these are further symptoms
of the hydraulic cylinder? And here I thought I was going to get off with
just a return spring... TIA!

The clutch pedal wont return means you probably need to rebuild or
replace the clutch master cyl. The cooling fan is quite easy and a very
strait forward job. E-mail me privately for procedures.
