The humble VW bus is a tried and proven test vehicle for Porsche.  They used to 
be a common sight on the Autobahn between Stuttgart and Heilbronn - a VW bus 
hurtling along at highly improbable speeds with hald a dozen white-coated 
technicians working feverishly in the back.
