general brake master cylinder question, 80's VW/Audi

Hey all.

I just replaced the master cylinder on my 86 VW. I was adding fluid about
once every 2 weeks, so I was pretty happy that I had it fixed. Anyways, I
was just giving a friend a ride home (3 weeks after the fix) and my brake
light starts flashing, which indicates low fluid. Thinking it weird, I
checked it out with my flashlight. Suer enough, the fluid is low, and it
appears to be dripping down the front of the slave cylinder, same as before.
Does this mean the slave cylinder is no good? The master cylinder wasn't
too bad to do, but I don't want to replace it again, so I'm hoping it's still
ok? Thanks for any help on this slightly audi relatated topic (my 4000CSQ
has almost the same braking system, audi content!)
