Yes and no.

I miss my quattro very much, but in stock form its doors would soon be
missing in a run against an S/V70 T5. Either car can be hopped up to
close to (and beyond if you have the means and the slightly insane
streak :-) 300 hp, so I think the comparison stands.

I am changing sides a little bit in disgust over AoA. Currently, there
are no interesting wagons (any at all?) in Audi's lineup here in the
States. Europe has been getting the S6 Avant (and an S6+?) for all this
time and also has the A4 Avants. Kind of limits my choices if we
want/need a new wagon, doesn't it? And then there's this talk of a toned
down S4 for the States. And no S-cars since 95.5...

I'll be back to a quattro next time. But it will probably still be
slower than the V70 in stock form.
