error code 2221 "no manifold pressure measurment"

Has anyone had any experiance with an error code 2221, which is something
like "no manifold pressure reading. Hose is loose or cracked" according
to Mr Bently.

I have checked the hose with a vacuum tester, and its not leaking.
Aside from the possibility of a bad transducer (does Digi Key have them?),
is there any other possibility?

The car is a 1990 200 qw mc engine 2 knock sensors
