Paul, as many here will tell you, avoid oil additives. They will more
than likely actually degrade the performance of your motor oil.
Spend the savings on the best dyno or synthetic oil you can find.
If you also change oil+filter "frequently," your motor should last
longer than the rest of the car.
For me, frequently means about 3k miles (5k km for those w.
units superiority complexes.)
