Audi Announces New Park Avenue Product Showcase

So they've decided to make a little splash in NYC:

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Audi of America, Inc.
 announced today that in partnership with its local dealer Zumbach Sports
Cars,
 Ltd., it is opening a product showcase in New York City at 250 Park Avenue.
 The 6,450 sq. ft. facility will open its doors this December.  An official
 name for this location has yet to be announced.
           The contemporary design of this product showcase will reflect
Audi's
 German heritage and history of advanced design.  It will feature seven cars
in
 its floorplan and be a place for people to see and buy the full line of
Audis
 from the entry level A4 1.8 T through the revolutionary A8 with its all
 aluminum Audi Space Frame and body panels.
           Audi recognizes the importance of New York City as a leading
market for
 buyers of imported luxury cars as well as its national and international
 prominence in the realm of opinion, design, and fashion.
           Audi has enjoyed a resurgence in the American market over the last
two
 years with a 51.1% increase in sales in '96 and a 44.1% increase in '95.
 1997 year-to-date sales are up 33.4% over last year.
