re: Flashing Check Engine Light

Perhaps this is a UK/US difference? The "check engine" light ("Emission
Control System" light in the manual, the icon is an engine w/ lightning
bolt inside and the word "CHECK" underneath, lit in yellow) has been
staying on steadily in my US-spec '93 90q several times in the past few
weeks. Typical behavior is that it comes on a few minutes after start-up,
and remains on until the engine is turned off. This has occurred
twice in one day, and then not at all for two weeks. I have recently
passed 90k miles, so I suspect this is nothing more than a service
reminder.
