I removed mine by using an old timing belt as a kind of 'filter wrench' round
the camshaft wheel, twisting the rest of the belt round a massive screwdriver.
The microfiche says to stick a broad screwdriver in the teeth and lever against
the stud that the cam cover screws into. On my car, this _immediately_ bent
the stud. I think the bolt is 80 lb ft.

Sure they still don't fit? I replaced my cork gasket with a rubber one last
time - it had the rings but they were a perfect push fit on the shoulders.
