F.S. '89 200tq
Audi-doody land,
Today, while I had my explorer at the body shop for an estimate, I spied
a black 200q in their used lot. Pretty rare for North Carolina.
The car is an early '89 (one knock sensor and no airbag)
black on black (not sport seats)
lived most it's 144k life in Philly and NY
exterior fair to poor (lots o scratches and repaired paint chips, but no
visible rust)
Interior is fair. the seats are in nice shape, not torn or badly creased,
but the wood is in very poor shape (splintered and coming off)
The car was not willing to start easily, but finally did and ran fairly
smoothly
Didn't get a chance to drive, but at +/-$3700 it may be a good project car
for someone. Thought I'd pass it along.
Let me know if any of y'all want me to drive it/or more info.
-Bryan
