I was watching CNN tonight and here are some stats about Diana's accident:

Car entered tunnel at approx 80 MPH.  Hit 13th concrete divider at 60-65
MPH.. Left nine feet of skid marks before impact...

After impact car rolled three or four times...

~27 G's were produced during the collision...

128,000 pounds of force was created at impact...

Mercedes states that no car including theirs was designed to sustain an
impact such as this...


No occupants were wearing seatbelts..
