First, my condolences to list members in the UK.  There has been a
tremendous outpouring of grief at British consulates all over the United
States, including Boston where a line outside the British consulate in
Boston stretched around the block of the Federal Reserve building for hours
on our National holiday.
CBS news is reporting that the MB 600 referred to on this list was actually
an MB 280 model not sold in the US.
CBS is also reporting the MB 280 was NOT armored as the _armored_ car was
driven off previously in an attempt to decoy the car involved in the
accident.
CBS also report that the driver's BAC was 3 times the French legal limit.
