You should use a good quality anaerobic structural adhesive.  Good lusk
finding one.  Clean both parts with alcohol, prime both parts and then
apply a very thin layer of adhesive, unite and hold or clamp.  Most of
these set up pretty quickly.  It is advisable to dry fit the parts
first, you only get one chance.  The first try fills up the pores and
messes up the surfaces if it doesn't hold.

A fair substitute for the ASA is quality "super glue", a close relative.
