re: QuickSilver wheel cleaner recalled

Yeah, I thought quicksilver was great stuff ,too.

Until I used it on a slightly windy day, and got some
of the overspray onto my glasses.  When I later tried to
remove the "water spots", I discovered that the cleaner 
had eaten throught the anti-glare coating on my glasses.

I like the way that it cleaned the Speedlines on my 
CQ, but if reacted that way with my glasses, I decided that it
was too caustic and not worth the potential harms or headaches.

Let's just say I want a wheel cleaner that doesn't 
require me to dress for a toxic spill cleanup...
