As long as the water pump doesn't let go ;-). Speaking of which, we
tore the motor apart on white trash last week, and found that the head
survived (passed a pressure test), and the bottom end looks good. The
valves are cooked of course, but everything else appears to be
salvageable. The clutch disc and flex plate have some nice
discoloration due to the intense engine heat, but are in good condition.
Paul bought a new motor w/a 1 year warranty, which was supposed to be
here last week, but will probably be here tomorrow. We'll be running
this motor at Prescott, and in the meantime, building a juicier motor
with the existing motor. Should be interesting... =)
Meanwhile, my dad may be acquiring a Toyota Celica All-Trac with a blown
motor (2.0L turbo). So there may be another rally car we're building.
cya!
