Oil drain plug

They used to be _very_ common on German garage forecourts, under a sign that
said: "Oelwechsel - Sofort!"
I think they were coin-operated, and sucked out whatever oil could be reached
by shoving a probe down the dipstick hole. Then you went into the shop and
bought some more oil. They went out of fashion ten or fifteen years ago, I
believe.
