4000 for sale in Jax, FL

Hey Q heads,
I have a friend who is selling his 1986 Audi 4000 with 172,000.  This baby is
not in good shape, has several problems and isn't up to my standards of care.
 THis car would be good as a parts car mostly.  It's an Auto tranny and a
battery drain, rough idle, and other problems.  He knows it's not worth much
and wants to dump it now as he is moving to Kansas City this month for a job.
 He is asking $500, and if I had a 4000, I would probably buy it as a parts
