My experience with them has been a *yes* and a *no*.

Yes, they warped rotors on my '85 5000s in the summertime. However, those were
cheap rotors (and I suspect - of an uncertain asian origin). Those small, 4-bolt
rotors were like $25/ea from JCWhitney. Never again!

No, they don't warp those huge, cross-drilled Brembo rotors on my 200TQ. OTOH, I
run the shields only in the winter time in order to protect the OEM mesh BBS
wheels, shod with Nokia snows, from the brake dust. Those BBS are such a pain in
the rectum to clean. Also, in the winter I barely touch the brakes at all, so
the risk of an overheat warpage is minimal.

A ditto from me here also. I also run Deluxes on the street and have exactly the
same impressions. The Co that used to be Repco, now sells MM and Deluxes under
the names either *Axxis* or *PBR*.

They will do BOTH and at a fast and demanding track (like Watkins Glen) they
won't last more than one day. I am not gonna tell you how I know this ;)
