I don't believe they were describing the A6.  The 1998.5 30V A4's WILL have
the above mentioned features.  Read the press release on the audi web site.
 The blurb about the A6 mentions a stereo w/ subwoofer, etc, etc.  The
piece about the A4 mentions a 'new' radio, etc etc.

Now, I wonder if the radio and 'variable' intermittent wipers will be
retro-fittable into early 1998 30Vs??
