Re: New VR12 (W12) Engine 300hp

I thought it would be more like this for a VR12:

Side view-

Top view-

For a W12 I was thinking:

Top view-
o  o  o  o
 
  o  o  o  o
 
 o  o  o  o
Front view-
\   |   /
 \  |  /
  \ | /
   \|/

If the motor was configured as you described-
Front view:
\   /\   /
 \ /  \ /
  v    v
Top view:
o  o  o
  o  o  o
 o  o  o
   o  o  o

You would have to have two crankshafts or something. Doesn't seem
too logical to me, but then again, I ain't no auto engineer...
