New old Audis!
Hi all,
While leafing through the '98 edition of the Auto, Motor und Sport Auto
Katalog, I happened upon a familiar-looking black car. Hey, what's the 1983
'aero' Audi 100/5000 doing there? And what's happened to the rings on the
grill?
Well, that was the FAW Hongqi- the C3 Audi built with Chrysler 1.8 and
2.0-litre engines, built in China from German-produced parts. They also
make the (later) C4-type 100 under the Audi name, apparently propelled by
V6 and V8 engines, and the C3 with 4 and 5-cylinder Audi engines. The blurb
doesn't say which V6/V8- might be some weird source, too.
So, that Chevy V8 conversion is perhaps being done by Audi...
And another weird addition to the Audi picture archives.

an entire bee, if half the bee is not a bee, due to some ancient injury?
