New A6 Styling--Don't rush to judgement!

I too saw the photo in Autoweek of the new '98 A6, and honestly,	
since the US bumpers are larger (5 mph crashworthy) it does look a
little chin heavy, at least at first.  It has the more sporty air 
intakes which look to be a direct lift off the new Euro S4.  Which in	
my mind are very desirable.

When the first photos of the Euro A6 came out, I thought the two tone
bumpers were, at first, cheap looking and butt ugly, but the more I
studied the design the more I liked the style;  it was just that it was
such a departure from the old styling.

Don't write off the styling of the new A6 until you see it in person and
can judge first hand rather than from a thumbnail photo in a weekly rag.
I predict that the Japanese and US makers will be copying the new A6
styling within two years!
