5k/4k suspension questions

Hi all,

Anyone know of suspension bushings that are harder than the OE rubber, but not urethane?  Something right in the middle would seem perfect, some play, 
but not sloppy.

Some slightly stiffer springs would be nice too (10% maybe), but I don't want to lower the car if I can avoid it (I don't want undue attention especially 
from Caprice owners), and the roads in Baltimore aren't smooth enough for that.

Last but not least, shocks.  My 5kcsTQ is a little wallow, ymostly due to 160k miles on the clock, and I figured as with any car, Audi made a compromise 
between comfort and performance, I just want to nudge it a little toward performance, but I don't want to go overboard and toss all the research Audi put 
into the car.

I guess I'm after advice for some mild tuning tips.
