Gute Fahrt Magazine 9/97
Hi all,
This month's Gute Fahrt magazine contains lots of interesting stuff for
VW/Audi fans. Of course the upcoming Golf IV is the big news (and rightly
so, judging by early reports).
Further in this issue: GF thinks it's time for Audi to start making a
coupe. Their computer mock-up looks beautiful, with many elements of the
new A6 and TT.
The new S4 gets quite a write-up, too, with lots of nice pics. Wish I had
the dough for an Avant version- they're wonderful! The interior looks very
good with its black leather sports seats and (fake?)carbon fibre panels.
More Audi news: the new interior packages and stereo systems for the A4,
with pictures. Nice-looking stuff. Now optional on the A3 and A4: SatNav,
like the system available in the A8.
The A8 2.5TDI quattro gets the thumbs-up, too. The tiptronic seems ideal
with the torquey V6 TDI.
GF tests the A8 with ESP (Electronic Stability Programme) versus one
without it, and finds ESP worth the money.
There's also an offer for training in winter driving, using A4 2.8q 30v
training cars. Hmmm...
Tom

an entire bee, if half the bee is not a bee, due to some ancient injury?
