I have the exact same problem as described on my '81 Audi 80 5+5 (4000),
when the engine is cold and full throttle is put on quickly the engine bogs

I go to the doctor and tell him that my elbow hurts when I bend it this way.
He tells me "don't bend it that way". There is probably nothing wrong with
all of your cars, just give them a lil more time to come up to temp. Don't
give the cars "full throttle" at warm-up type temps. This is more of a
characteristic rather than a problem. There are several sensors that control
timing and fuel enrichenment, these sensors may not be very stable or
accurate at warm-up temps and may not be in synch with eachother causing a
confused computer and hence the popping. I have been over zealous at low
engine temps, and have seen this happen to several of my Aud's over the
years. Just let them warm up.... In a 2-stroke world we call the
consequences "cold sieze" luckily the population doesn't have to deal with
that.
