200 Timing Belts
A comment was made about this recently - mine is a bit more specific.
On my 1990 200, I discovered that two timing belts were used. Of
course, when I had mine pulled down and was attempting to
re-assemble it, I discovered that the belt I had was the more common
(more teeth of smaller size) and that I naturally needed the other,
less common unit (fewer teeth, each tooth larger).
When you order a timing belt, **use the build date and vin # if
necessary** to assure you get the right belt. it cost me three days'
down time. However, the local NAPA was able to order it very quickly
at a good price.
