I ran into the same problem. I was amazed that they cost over $200!! I got a flyer from Blaufergnugen, that said they would sell a set for $149, and I ordered them. After a six-week runaround (I'll never do business with them again!!), I finally got a set from my local Pep Boys, in TWO days... as a special order, for the same price!!

Before you say "Yeah, but how good are they... if you bought them from a local parts store?" Well, they are not the "off the shelf" brand... they are the same ones that Blaufergnugen was going to sell me... made by Borg-Warner, with the OEM Beru connectors on the end. The connectors have the four Audi rings on them.... these are the real McCoys!!

I got them in TWO days... for $149.00!!! Needless to say... I was very happy. If you need the part #, I'll dig it out... but it is not really necessary... the Pep Boys people can just look it up. If you don't have a Pep Boys near you... let me know. Maybe we can work something out...

Where do you live? I live in Maryland, but have friends and relatives in the Boston area... FWIW. I go up there every now and then... and may be moving back there within the next couple/few months.

Take care. Good luck.
