Audi's small car prototype

Hi all,

The latest issue of Auto Zeitung features a story about the Al2, Audi's
high-tech small car prototype. It's an all-aluminium car (noblesse oblige)
and powered by half a V6- a direct-injected three-cylinder engine with the
exact bore and stroke of the V6. Looking at a few details, it's pretty
high-tech in its execution. Beautiful it ain't, though (not easy with a
small car, I agree). The interior notably is quite ugly, being made from
bright pastel-coloured materials. My most favourable comment would be 'it
looks like no other car'.

Is this the shape of things to come? Audi goes downmarket and VW goes upmarket?

Bye,

Tom

an entire bee, if half the bee is not a bee, due to some ancient injury?
