Re: HELP!! Ignition Switch Repair????

BTDT. The release pin is not visible. You have to drill a hole through the
lock housing at a very specific location and press the spring release inside.
If you have not found out from a Bentley or other source I can help. Give me a
call or e/mail. I assume you have the assembly out of the car. That was a
horrible job on a 91 100. Massive dash disassembly. No, you cannot rekey the
same, but assuming your lock is not the problem, but the electricals or
mechanicals have failed, you simply insert your old lock into the new
electronics. As I recall the switch and the mechanicals behind the switch cost
about $80-100. You will probably not need the new lock and key.
