Hey, I'm new to this list, just bought an '85 Audi Coupe GT two days ago!
So far I love it, have many plans to squeeze a few more horses and some
handling out of the car.

About the spoiler, the first time my friend saw how faded it was, he said
"Try some black leather dye". Well, he had some in his house, and we
tried it on a small spot, and it did work! Here's the procedure I'm going
to take:

1) clean the heck out of the spoiler with soapy water and a scrub brush.

2) Apply thin coat of leather dye to entire thing. Let sit for a few
minutes, then wipe off. Let sit for about a half hour or so, and repeat.

I may repeat this process once a week for awhile until I'm satisfied with
the color, but anything is better than that light grey spoiler ;)

Good luck,
