81 Coupe for sale

Dear All

I will shortly be moving back to the UK from here in Seattle and thus
will, unfortunately, have to sell my treasured 81 coupe.

According to University motors, where I bought the car, this was the first
coupe in washington and was sold to a chap who owned it until he
part-exchanged it for an A4 in Nov 95. This guy was the first owner and I
bought it from university motors in Nov 95 with 49K on the clock. The car
was, and still is, in immaculate condition and is probably one of the
finest 81 coupes in existence. 

The car is silver with dark brown leather interior, all original
carpets/mats  etc and original blaupunk stereo. It currently has 69K on
the clock. The tabs were renewed in August and emissions passed in Aug.
5 cylinder 2.1L engine with 5 speed manual transmission. 

I had a 60K mile service on the car (at bellevue motorsports), it has had
oil and filter changes every 3K miles, it has a K+N filter, it has a new
exhaust system (including catalyst), it has Hella H4/H1 upgraded lights
with stone protectors, it has a 87 spec. gearbox (close ratio compared to
81 spec - fitted by university motors), it has 87 spec front brakes with
10" cross drilled and slotted Brembo discs and Metalmaster pads, it has a
new waterpump and cambelt. 

I would like $3000 for the car although I am also open to reasonable
offers. The car will be available at the end of October.
