Cruise/vacuum pump.

After more than two years and a half-dozen or so attempts to repair my
cruise control, I have finally done it.

A few tips
  
Just because something worked the last time you checked it 6 months ago,
doesn't mean it will work today.  

Don't trust the Bentley troubleshooting checklist, it's incomplete.

The wiring diagram is (surprise) wrong.

The wires in the turn signal arm are not very ductile.

After painstakingly checking everything on the cruise control, I declare
myself a "cruise control guru".

Go ahead, ask me how I fixed my vacuum pump by flushing it with water. 
From 2 inches Hg to 17 inches Hg  in seconds.
