Uh, very unlikely.  It's been as "loose" as it can get for quite a while
now, so it's not that. ;-)

Yep, many other listers proposed the same answer, or at least some
variation on the alternator theme.

I haven't checked it yet, drivin' the nrutaS (shhhh!).  I'll take a look
at it tommorrow.
