New Land Speed Record

Sorry for spamming the list, but I thought many of you would be
interested to know this.  Just got word that Andy Green in Thrust SSC
set a new record today at 714.144 mph with a peak speed of 731 mph on
the return trip, in the Black Rock Desert.  He reported no problems
whatsoever.  It appears they are knocking on the door of the speed of
sound, which at this elevation and average temperature is around 750
mph.  See what happens.
