At 183 hp out of a lightweight 4-cyl 2.3 liter motor, this car has a
serious fun factor. I looked for one of these for quite a while, but
they are very hard to find with low mileage especially considering that
they only imported 3000 between 1986 and 1987. I test drove one but it
was high mileage and pretty beat up. Plus, the MD/DC area is not
exactly your Mecca for German car enthusiasts. Tell your friend to not
be too concerned if it burns a lot of oil. I was told that 1 quart
every 1000 miles is considered normal.
