5000/200 Turbo Fuel Injection
I have a question about the Bosch Control Pressure Regulator (a.k.a. warm-up regulator) used in the
fuel injection system of the Audi 5000 Turbo (US model) / 200 (Euro model) circa 85~86. The part
number is 035 133 403D. I don't have the original car. I acquired this part, along with others, in
a (old) turbocharging kit for the VW GTI engine; I have been informed this part is a common kluge
for such DIY forced induction applications.
I'm trying to find out how to connect the hoses running to the regulator. There are three vacuum
ports on the unit: one on the top (where the fuel line banjo connections are) and two on the side,
a small barb (~3 mm) and a larger one (~6mm). The top port appears to have some sort of cap fitting
installed by the factory (possibly used for atmospheric pressure sensing?). What about the other
two connections? They are clearly meant to accept vacuum hoses, but what goes where???
Any relevant advice would be greatly appreciated!
