German Car Show - Chatsworth

Did it cross anybody else's mind that if it had rained today the UKQOC cars
would have been the only ones to leave Chatsworth tonight? l dont think that
many others could have climbed that grass slope back to the road - a Porsche
924 in front of me had problems getting out of the car park.
As for that maroon BMW (M1?), it was parked on such a steep bit of the slope
that I had to keep checking that it hadn't moved, I had visions of it sliding
majestically downhill into the river.

I was glad to see that UKQOC members get out of their cars and talk to people.
At car shows nothing annoys me more than rows of cars with their owners shut
inside drinking tea and eating sandwiches - those people are nearly as sad as
the ones that set their car up with mirrors under the engine and signs
proclaiming that it took Joe Bloggs 100 man-years and cost 200,000 GBP to
build.

Aelred had some interesting bits and pieces in the Dialynx tent (and two sport
q's outside), the EFI setup for the 10v engines looked well engineered
although I hope that the wiring loom is a bit more professional when it goes
into production. The mapping has still to be worked out but he estimated the
price to be in the region of 1200GBP.
