Dear Ben,

You are right. None of A4(except for S4) cannot have 6-speed.
But, A4 2.5 TDI(V6) will be fitted with 6-speed manual.
Up to now, S series and 2.5liter TDI(140bhp and 150bhp) can have 6
speed.

And, one more thing... 2.4 V6 has 30 valves.

One more thing.
According to Audi's official opinion, S4 will not shipped to USA and
Japan.
Biturbo engine for Audi A6 is 230bhp rather than 265bhp of S4.
