Fuba antennas - fender mount?

Does anyone have any experience with the fender-mount Fuba amplified
antennas?  I've been thinking that may be the easiest way to go for my '85
Audi Coupe GT.  It has an amplified antenna mounted at the rear, but with
a collapsable mast (which of course is broken).  I hate the collapsable
masts anyway, so I though maybe I could just drop a nice black Fuba fender
mount back there.
